Cavaliers News · Co-ed Track battled the cold on Monday


The Tri-County co-ed track team opened up their season on Monday against the Pioneer Panthers.  The girls were defeated 86 to 39 and the boys were defeated by the score of 93 to 40.

Placing first for the Lady Cavaliers were: Sarah Walder in the high jump at 4’4, Erin Bahler in the 400 m dash with a time of 1:08 and Ana Martin in the 300 m hurdles.

Receiving seconds were: Maddie Musser in the shot put (29′ 9.5) and discuss (85.2′), Maddison Bullington in the 100 m hurdles (19:99), Sarah Walder in the 200 m dash (32:63), Kiara Harris in the 800 m run (2:55), Harmony Pirlot in the long jump, Bailey Metzinger in the 3200 m run (16:46), the 4 x 800 relay team of Kiara Harris, Bailey Metzinger, Sarah Walder and Erin Bahler and the 4 x 400 relay team of Ana Martin, Maddison Bullington, Sarah Walder and Erin Bahler.

For the boys, Owen Getz won the pole vault at 11’0, Kaden Price won the 800 m run in a time of 2:13 and the 4 x 400 relay team consisting of Logan Schneidt, Luke Lehe, Owen Getz and Bryce Cook won with a time of 4:02.

Receiving seconds were: Hunter Musser in the shot put (39’9), Bryce Cook in the discuss (117’6), Kaden Price in the 1600m (5:19.73) and 3200m (12:04), Logan Schneidt in the 110m hurdles (19:35), Owen Getz in the 300m hurdles, 4 x 800 relay team of Luke Ulrich, Brandon Shellcrosslee, Alex Crumpton and Matthew Harrington and the 4 x 100 relay team of Luke Lehe, Clayton Wood, Brandon Shellcrosslee and Bryce Cook.

The Cavs will run again on Thursday traveling to Rensselaer to run against the Bomber and the South Newton Rebels.
