Tuesday night (4/17) the Tri-County boys and girls track team traveled to West Central to run against Covenant Christian and West Central. The boys team won, totaling 62 points followed by West Central with 54 and Covenant Christian with 42. Covenant Christian won the girls meet with 77 points followed by West Central with 49 and the Lady Cavs with 25.
Bryce Cook received two blue ribbons for the Cavs in the high jump (5’10) and discus (118.8′). Also receiving blues for the Cavs were Kaden Price in the 800m, Owen Getz in the 300 hurdles, Hunter Musser in the shot and the 4 x 400 relay team.
During the girls meet, Maddie Musser received two 2nd places in the shot put and discuss. Erin Bahler also received a 2nd in the 400m, with Bailey Metzinger also receiving a 2nd in the 3200.
Both teams will travel to North Newton on Thursday to run against Frontier and North Newton.
