Cavaliers News · Senior Spotlight: Sarah Walder

With the spring sports being cancelled, we would like to thank our spring senior athletes for all of their hard work and leadership during their four years of participating in Tri-County Athletics.   You have definitely left your mark on your respective sports.  We would also like for the Cavalier fans to get to know you a little better before you graduate.  So, we thought we would have you fill out a short questionnaire about some of your memories of being a Cavalier.

Today’s senior spotlight is Sarah Walder.

  • What sports did you participate in while at Tri-County?

Volleyball, Girls basketball manager and Track and Field

  • What are your plans for next year?

         Ivy Tech

  • What was your most memorable athletic moment while participating for TC?

My most memorable athletic moment would probably have to be advancing onto

regionals for high jump.

  • What will you miss most about being a part of Tri-County athletics?

I will miss how encouraging and motivating the coaches are and how much time

and effort they spend to help their athletes. I will also miss the bond of a team,

no matter the sport, if it is an individual or team sport, we are always more than just a team, we are a family.

  • What advice would you give to your teammates?

Advice that I would give my teammates would be to enjoy the time you have

doing what you love and to give your all every game, meet, match, whatever it may be, treat it like it is your last. Also I would say to never give up, just keep working towards your goals.
