The Tri-County Athletic Department is hosting its 10th annual golf scramble fundraiser on Sunday, August 23rd at Oak Grove CC in Oxford, Indiana. This year there will be one play session, starting at 1:00 pm. Dinner will be served after your round of golf. Prizes will be presented during dinner. Our hope is to create an event that our parents, athletes, fans, and alumni have fun with and will want to attend year after year. The event will also subsidize the athletic budget and help offset the growing expenses that are resulting from the state’s cutting of school funding.
Last year we had a great turnout. 70 golfers came out to support the Cavaliers. Through hole sponsors and golfers $8,000 was generated to supplement the athletic budget. It was a fun filled day and we expect to have an even bigger turnout this year.
We are inviting our parents, athletes, fans, and alumni to reunite with their classmates, relatives, former teachers, administrators and coaches in a fun filled day of golf. Our goal is to raise $10,000 for the athletic budget. We would like to get at least a foursome from every graduating class as well as foursomes consisting of family members, fans and friends to play and compete for team and individual prizes. First, Second and Third place teams will receive $300, $200, $100 cash prizes. 50/50 cash raffle tickets and numerous door prizes. Numerous prizes are presented to the chosen raffle ticket holders.
Registration fees are $55 per player or $220 per team. Please fill out the enclosed registration sheet and return it or you may pay on the day of the event but we would appreciate receiving your registration form or RSVP by August 16th. If you are unable to attend this year, but would like to make a donation, we would greatly appreciate it. However, we very much would like for you to attend the event. Please contact Jeff LeBeau in the Cavalier athletic office if you have any questions concerning this event. Athletic office phone (219) 279-2047 Ext. #3112 or at email@example.com
