Maddie Musser named Athlete of the Week

Freshman Maddie Musser is this week’s athlete of the week due to her efforts in Thursday night’s junior varsity victory over the Lady Falcons of Frontier.  Musser finished the night with 20 points and 2 rebounds.  Congratulations Maddie!    

Cavaliers wrestle in Caston Invite

The Tri-County Wrestling team traveled to Caston on Saturday (12/9) to participate in their invite.  With 6 teams in the invite each wrestler was scheduled to wrestle 5 times. Boy’s varsity defeat Seeger

Tri-County traveled to Williamsport on Saturday night(12/9) to take on the Patriots of Seeger.  The Cavaliers were victorious by the score of 63-49.  Tri-County outscored Seeger 20-12 in the 2nd quarter to extend their lead, one they would never relinquish.  TC used their 21 steals to their advantage, leading to easy transition buckets. Lady Cavs defeat Frontier

Thursday night (12/7) Tri-County’s girls varsity team defeated the Lady Falcons of Frontier by the score of 62-56.  The Lady Cavs out scored the Lady Falcons 15-10 in the 3rd quarter to help overcome the one point deficit from the first half.  Tri-County shot 45% from the floor while holding Frontier to 37% shooting. Lady Cavs lose a heart breaker

On Tuesday night (12/5) the Lady Cavaliers traveled to Carroll to take on the Lady Cougars.  Tri-County lost a tight one 36-34.  Leading the Lady Cavs in scoring was senior Madison Bullington with 11 points.  Dakota Allison recorded a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Grace Michal led Tri-County in rebounds, pulling down 12. 

Lady Cavs fall to Rossville

The Tri-County Lady Cavs fell to the Lady Hornets of Rossville on Saturday morning by the score of 52-37.  Leading the way for the Lady Cavs was senior Dakota Allison with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Kinzi Brooks contributed 9 points on the day with Maddison Bullington chipping in 7 points.  Odyssey Whitcomb scored 7

Varsity Boys improve to 3-0

The Tri-County varsity basketball team improved to 3-0 on Friday night by defeating Rossville by the score of 61-50.  Senior Bennie Patterson led the Cavs in scoring with 27 points.  Patterson also grabbed 6 rebounds on the night. Michal scores 1,000th point

Tri-County senior Grace Michal surpassed the 1,000th point mark on Tuesday night (11/28) in the Lady Cavs’ 52-41 loss to Midwest Conference foe North White.  Michal finished the night with 17 points and 14 rebounds.  The Lady Cavs are currently 1-6 and will host Rossville on Saturday (12/2) beginning at 11:00 AM.
