Foster advances to Regional in vault

Foster finishes 2nd in All-Around at Jeff Invite

Kylie Foster continues her strong season in gymnastics as she finished 2nd in All-Around out of 34 gymnasts on Saturday in the Lafayette Jeff Invite.  Foster highest score came from the vault where she finished in 2nd place with a score of 9.4.  She also finished second in the uneven bars with a 9.0 and

Cavaliers hold on to beat Kouts

Saturday afternoon the Tri-County boys took on Kouts and came out with a victory by the score of 62-54.  It was good prep for the Cavs as it had a post-season feel to it and they had to play through the physical play. Leading the Cavs in scoring were seniors Bryce Cook and Bennie Patterson

Cavaliers get win over Cougars

The Tri-County boy’s JV/Varsity basketball team traveled to Flora on Thursday (2/1) to take on the Cougars of Carroll High School.  The Cavs used a big second quarter, out scoring the Cougars 18-8, to help propel them to a 69-52 victory. Leading the way for the Cavaliers was Bryce Cook who finished with 18 points. 

Lady Cavs advance to semifinals

The Tri-County Lady Cavs used a huge 3rd quarter, that saw them out score Caston 23-14, to help propel them to a 59-38 victory.  With the win the Lady Cavs will advance to the semifinals to take on the Lady Vikings of North White at West Central at 7:30 EST. Grace Michal finished with another

Tri-County boys pick up two wins over the weekend

The 12-2 Cavaliers picked up two more wins this weekend defeating Delphi on Friday night by the score of 61-54 and knocking off North Newton on Saturday 69-25.  Beating the Spartans also puts the Cavs at 4-0 in the Midwest Conference. Friday night Bryce Cook led the offensive attack with 18 points and 16 rebounds. 

Lady Cavs pick-up big win heading into sectionals

On Thursday night (1/25) the Lady Cavs defeated Faith Christian by the score of 71-30.  Tri-County jumped out to a 19-2 lead after the 1st quarter and never looked back.  The Lady Cavs finished with 5 girls in double digits led by junior Kinzi Brooks with 16 points.  Grace Michal finished with 15 points and

Wrestlers see their season come to an end at the Twin Lakes Sectional

Saturday morning the Tri-County wrestlers traveled to Twin Lakes to compete in the Twin Lakes IHSAA Sectional.  All wrestlers competed well and saw improvements from the beginning of the season, but fell short of advancing to next weekend’s regional.
