Varsity boys pick up another win

Saturday night (1/6) the Tri-County boys braved the cold and traveled to Attica where both the JV and Varsity collected wins.  The JV boys ran away from the Red Ramblers early and winning by the score of 45-14.  The Varsity held off a late comeback attempt by Attica defeating the Red Ramblers 60-52. Varsity Girls basketball game postponed

Due to North Newton not having school today (1/4), the girls’ game for tonight has been postponed.  The two schools are working on a make-up date.

Varsity girls win two over break

The Tri-County girls traveled to Clinton Prairie over Christmas break and collected two wins.  In game one, they defeated Indianapolis Lutheran by the score of 46-39.  Senior Grace Michal led the Lady Cavaliers in scoring and rebounding with 16 points and 14 rebounds.  Senior Dakota Allison finished with 8 points while Odyssey Whitcomb and Emma

Farrell records 20th career win

On Tuesday night the Cavalier wrestlers traveled to Rensselaer to wrestle an experienced Bomber squad.  Drake Farrell reached a career milestone earning his 20th career win by pinning his opponent in 3:28.  Farrell is now 7-6 on the season. Moseley named 2017 Indiana Academic All-Star

Tri-County Senior, Drew Moseley has been recognized by the Indianapolis Colts, the Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) and the Indiana Football Coaches Association (IFCA) for his performance in the classroom.  These organizations have recognized 25 outstanding student-athletes with the 2017 Indiana Academic All-Stars Award. Cavalier men finish weekend 2-0

The Cavalier men improved to 6-0 over the weekend defeating Midwest Conference rival North White 93-46 on Friday (12/15) and Covenant Christian 62-42 on Saturday night (12/16). Wrestlers finish Seeger Invite at 12-11

The Tri-County wrestlers traveled to Seeger on Saturday (12/16) for the Seeger Invite.  The Cavaliers finished the day going 12 and 11. Luke Ulrich led the Cavs on the day going 4-1 including 2 pins and an overtime win.  Ulrich also reached a milestone on Saturday earning his 20th win in his high school career. 

Lady Cavs fall to Clinton Prairie

The Lady Cavaliers saw their three game winning streak come to an end on Saturday (12/16) losing to Clinton Prairie 60-41.  The Lady Cavs continued to fight as they won the second half, but couldn’t overcome the hot shooting of the Lady Gophers in the second quarter. Lady Cavs defeat West Central

The Tri-County Lady Cavaliers continued their winning ways on Thursday (12/14) defeating the Lady Trojans of West Central by the score of 63-39. Cook named Athlete of the Week

Senior Bryce Cook is this week’s Tri-County Athlete of the Week for his performance this past weekend.  Cook helped lead the boys’ basketball team to victories over North White and Covenant Christian.  On Friday night against North White, Cook contributed 12 points and 5 rebounds and followed that performance on Saturday against Covenant Christian with
