The Tri-County Cavaliers couldn’t overcome a cold shooting night suffering their first loss to county rival Twin Lakes (1/9) by the score of 65-56.  The Cavaliers finished 18 of 58 for 31% from the floor. Tuesday night the Cavaliers boys’ basketball team defeated conference rival South Newton by the score of 46-36.  The Cavaliers held on to a 14-8  first quarter lead into the 4th quarter where they put away the Rebels outscoring them 11-5. Foster to compete in gymnastics (schedule)

Foster opens Gymnastics season

Freshman Kylie Foster is representing Tri-County this winter through gymnastics.  Foster opened up the season this past Saturday at Valparaiso High School.  Foster finished 5 in the All-Around. Varsity boys pick up another win

Saturday night (1/6) the Tri-County boys braved the cold and traveled to Attica where both the JV and Varsity collected wins.  The JV boys ran away from the Red Ramblers early and winning by the score of 45-14.  The Varsity held off a late comeback attempt by Attica defeating the Red Ramblers 60-52. Due to North Newton not having school today (1/4), the girls’ game for tonight has been postponed.  The two schools are working on a make-up date.

Varsity girls win two over break

On Tuesday night the Cavalier wrestlers traveled to Rensselaer to wrestle an experienced Bomber squad.  Drake Farrell reached a career milestone earning his 20th career win by pinning his opponent in 3:28.  Farrell is now 7-6 on the season.
