Foster is this week’s AOW

This week’s Tri-CountyAthletes of the week is junior Kylie Foster.  Foster participated in the Lafayette Jeff Gymnastics Invite this past Saturday and finished 4th in the All-Around.  On the day, Foster finished 4th on the vault with a 9.0, and 4th on the floor with a 9.3. Ulrich advances to Regionals

Senior Luke Ulrich advanced out of the Twin Lakes Sectional and will wrestle in this Saturday’s Logansport Regional.  Ulrich finished sectionals going 2-2 and finishing fourth in the 145 pound weight class.  Ulrich is currently 24-12 entering regionals.  Good luck Luke!

Lady Cavs advance to semi-finals

The Lady Cavaliers defeated South Newton in the first round of the Pioneer Basketball Sectional by the score of 55-49.  Junior Myah Alberts led Tri-County in with 19 points and 8 rebounds.  Senior Emma Michal contributed 17 points which included three 3-pointers.  Sophomore Brynn Warren chipped in 10 points with junior Maddie Musser adding 7

Ulrich Wins MWC

On Saturday, senior wrestler Luke Ulrich claimed the Midwest Conference title in the 145 pound weight class.  Ulrich finished the day going 5-0. He also recorded his 20 win on the season during the MWC tournament. Ulrich and his teammates will compete in the Twin Lakes Sectional on Saturday, February 1.    

Lafayette Spinners to perform at Homecoming

The Lafayette Spinners, featuring Tri-County’s own Matthew Bowman, will be performing during both JV and Varsity halftimes on Friday night (1/24).  The Lafayette Spinners are a non-profit wheelchair basketball organization for people with all physical disabilities. Not just paralysis, any kind of physical disability that would render you unable to play upright basketball competitively.The Spinners have
